Eligibility

ELIGIBILITY FOR SERVICES

Severe and chronic disabilities that are attributable to a mental or physical impairment that begins before an individual reaches adulthood.

These disabilities include:

Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Autism, and disabling

conditions closely related to intellectual disability or requiring similar treatment.

 

Any resident of San Diego or Imperial County believed to have a developmental disability may apply for services.

 

The intake procedure will determine eligibility based on social, medical, and psychological information gathered.

WHAT DOES NOT QUALIFY AN
INDIVIDUAL FOR SERVICES:

Conditions that are solely psychiatric or physical in nature.
